Description
Alja-Safe® Acrobat® is a fibre reinforced “non-sag” version of original Alja-Safe® life casting alginate.
Acrobat is thicker and holds to vertical surfaces allowing the user better control for making moulds of the face, torso, etc. and it is skin safe and does not contain crystalline silica (a known carcinogen).
Acrobat® reproduces perfect detail from all body surfaces and is good for making temporary moulds that can be used to make highly detailed reproductions.
Alja-Safe® Acrobat® has an easy to mix ratio - one part Alja-Safe® Acrobat® powder sifted into one part water (1:1 by volume). It has a working time of five minutes and a cure time of eight minutes, assuming a water temperature of 27°C.
Alja-Safe® Acrobat® can cast cast in wax, plaster, polymer modified gypsum, platinum cure silicone or ultra-fast urethane resin.
