Brass round tube.
1000mm long brass round tubes for architectural model making, engineering, animation, model railway, dioramas and other scratch building projects.
- Brass can be milled, drilled, sawed, and soldered.
- Cut using a tubing cutter, circular saw or with a hacksaw.
- If you don't want to solder, best joined using a two part epoxy or superglue.
- See the drop down box above for available sizes*.
- All wall thicknesses 0.5mm except for the following codes: ST10049 (0.2mm), ST10062 (0.3mm), ST10065 (0.4mm).
Brass forms a greyish-green layer on the surface, which you should remove (sand, polish) before soldering. After polishing, to preserve the shine, apply a clear laquer to the surface. Our Workshop staff use Hycote Clear Gloss on their brass etching work.
*PLEASE NOTE: measurements given on drop down box are outer measurements.
