Features
Precision Architectural Detailing: These small-diameter, thin-walled tubes are a staple for high-end architectural model making, ideal for representing slender structural columns, handrails, and intricate urban furniture.
Versatile Fabrication Options: The material can be processed with professional machinery like a circular saw or manually using a metal frame saw, allowing for clean, burr-free cuts across all diameters.
Optimised for Bonding: Exceptionally receptive to soft soldering for permanent metal-to-metal joints, and equally compatible with two-component epoxies, cyanoacrylates, or specialist modelling adhesives like Ruderer and Uhu Hard.
Advanced Bending Technique: To achieve smooth curves without buckling, these tubes can be tightly filled with sand and sealed at the ends before bending, ensuring the circular profile remains intact throughout the deformation.
Superior Finish and Rigidity: Offers a higher level of structural integrity and aesthetic refinement compared to plastic alternatives, providing a professional metallic finish that can be polished or chemically patinated.

Thin walled tubes with small diameters can be well used in architectural model making. Cutting work on the brass tubes can be done with a Circular Saw or manually with a household saw or a Metal Frame Saw; they take very well to soldering and gluing work can be done with two component glues (e.g. ones based on CYANOACRYLATE or EPOXY), for model making Ruderer plastic glue or Uhu hard will also suffice. When bent, the tubes will not buckle if you take the precaution of tightly filling them with sand and closing off the ends beforehand.
