Applications: These plastic spheres (balls) consist of two halves that are ridged so that they are easy to open and close. They can be easily hung on the eyelet provided allowing them to be used as CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENTS, as CONTAINERS for self-made Advent calendars or as PRESENTATION DISPLAYS. Beyond that, they can be used in model making (dome light or overhead lighting units), as gift packaging or in handicraft work or decorations. The fact that they are officially food-safe extends their possible uses even further!

Treatment: If the eyelet is not wanted in your application it can be easily scored and cleanly broken off. If the two halves of the sphere are to be glued together – which is hardly necessary, as the two pieces fit extremely well together – it can be done with Dichlormethane or Ruderer plastic glue but it should be noted that the area glued will show streaks.

For decorative purposes, the spheres can be painted on the inside or liquid paint can be swirled around in the sphere. The latter colouring method can produce a beautiful marble effect when 2 or 3 different colour tones are placed it the sphere and not mixed together but rather only lightly stirred. With the help of the right divider panes, each half of the sphere can be filled with different things. In addition, those panes themselves can be painted or have things glued to them.
