This long plastic hinge, often referred to as a piano hinge or continuous hinge, is made from extremely durable polypropylene and can be used where corrosive materials are present or the two joined parts need to slightly rotate when being opened.

  • Width: 25mm
  • Non-corrosive.
  • Lightweight.
  • Fatigue resistant - may be flexed thousands of times without splitting.
  • Electrically non-conductive.

 

Polypropylene continuous hinges are best fixed mechanically with rivets, screws, nails or clamps (adhesive bonding does not provide adequate strength).
