Fine dried silver sand for adding realistic landscaping detail to model railway layouts, architectural models, war gaming dioramas, miniature bases and landscaping models.

• Pack size: various (see drop down box).
• Spread an even layer of PVA on your surface and sieve sand over the surface.
• Leave to dry and then remove excess.
• Use masking tape to define hard edges taking care not to overpaint with PVA.
• To avoid any ‘grin-through’ of your base material colour, paint first before applying the sand.
• The colour of this fine silver sand may vary from pack-to-pack.

Staff member Savanh mixed this sand with black acrylic paint to give his building an aged, textured base before adding surface highlights.
