ASA 'I' beams

These plastic 'I' beams are used mainly in architectural, interior design and engineering model construction. They can also be use to strengthen elements in prop making and cosplay projects.

  • 'I' beam length: 1000mm
  • 'I' beam dimensions: various (see options)
  • Most sections can be cut using a scalpel.
  • Larger using a razor or junior hacksaw.
  • Adhere with Plastic Weld Liquid Solvent cement.

I beams are used in building construction for carrying shear loads. A common type of I beam is the rolled steel joist (RSJ).
