Wood bending tool kit.

Used extensively by model ship builders, this plank bending tool is ideal for bending thin timber strips to the desired curvature.

The tool bends wooden planking strips easily and guarantees the correct curvature every time.

Instructions:

• Plug in to warm rounded head on the tool
• Place wooden strip on the wooden template form (included in the kit)
• Heat strip by running the tool head over the strip
• Repeat until required shape is attained

The tool works on dry strips with a maximum thickness of 1mm.

Anything thicker may still work if dampened first but it may cause the wood to swell.

Alternatively, you can leave the tool in its stand and gently bend the wood over the head of the tool as in this video:

The kit also includes a stand.

Allow to cool fully before storing the tool.
