Description
Mould making Latex liquid rubber.
Latex, or liquid rubber, is a pre vulcanised emulsion which forms a highly flexible thin rubber skin.
It can then be inverted to form a mould.
- Size: 1 litre bottle (other sizes available below).
- Used for many diverse items from garden ornaments to theatrical masks.
- Easy to use, strong & gives good definition & accuracy.
- Brush onto the master and allow to dry before painting on the next coat.
- Latex can be coloured using the specific latex colourants.
- Plaster of Paris is commonly used as a mould material.
NOTE: The use of a thickening agent (CL00004) will allow you to build in thicker layers. This helps to minimise any dripping on non-horizontal surfaces and makes coverage easier on non-porous surfaces.
