Model Railway Ballast

This ballast is perfect for adding realistic and detailed ground cover to model railway layouts, architectural models, and landscaping dioramas. Its natural appearance and varied grades ensure an authentic finish to your projects.

  • Application: Best glued down with a 50/50 PVA/water mix, allowing 24 hours to dry.

The ballast is available in several colours, grades, and sizes:

  • Black: Fine grade, 200g bag.
  • Dark Grey: Fine grade, 200g bag.
  • Brown: Small (0.1-0.3mm) and Medium (0.2-0.5mm) grades, 500g bag.
  • Granite: Small (0.1-0.3mm) grade in a 250g bag and Medium (0.2-0.5mm) grade in a 200g bag.

The different grades are suitable for various scales, with the fine and small grades being ideal for N gauge, and the medium grade being excellent for OO gauge.
