Crafts & Model Making

The versatility of Craftfoam makes it the number one choice for model makers, war gamers, flower arrangers, and crafters alike. Well-established as a premium model-making material, it is perfect for everything from model boats and railways to terrain, wargaming scenery, and detailed craft projects. Because of its closed-cell structure, it maintains its strength and will not crumble or snap easily when being cut and carved.

Architectural Model Making

Architectural model making demands precision, strength, and versatility. Craftfoam is recognized as a market leader by professional architects and model makers for creating highly detailed 3D architectural structures. Its exceptionally smooth surface and uniform cell density make it perfect for achieving a professional finish.

Working & Gluing Guide

Craftfoam can be easily glued together to build up thickness and create massive, complex shapes. White craft glue (PVA) is ideal for bonding Craftfoam surfaces together. A low-temperature glue gun can also be used safely (avoid high-temperature hot glue guns, as excessive heat can melt the material).

Once your model is shaped, it can be finished beautifully with acrylic paints, modelling pastes, gesso, or non-solvent-based resins.
